Celebrities break the law just like any other common criminal. The only difference when a celebrity breaks the law compared to the average Joe, is the fact that the celebrity will be hot under the celebrity spotlight. It is always quite odd to see how much press coverage celebrity get in comparison to other news and events. A story about a drunk celebrity falling down the stairs could receive more coverage than a discovery of a small town serial killer. I guess demand dictates what the press and media will cover. People want to hear about the latest and greatest celebrity events that take place more so than keeping up with serial killers.
